    Should the forums stay open?

    In lieu of creating a private forum on dpreview, I can always keep these forums open. What do you all think?

    Jeff, there is a lot of history in this forum. Seems a true shame to just blow it all away.

    Keeping these forums open is nice...but is there a significant cost to you Jeff?

    If it does not have a negative financial impact on you, then I am for keeping the forums open. Oterwise you should do what is best for you.

    It's a yes from me.However I think you have to decide Jeff whether the cost and time involved in keeping the forums open is justified by what is now in reality a very low level of activity.If it does not I would understand. Whatever your decision I hope that somehow the wealth of knowledge accumulated in these forums over the years could remain accessible.
