    Ipad editing software

Ok, I know someone on here was using some new image editing software for the Ipad, and I was impressed. Either its the turkey slowing me down, or else I'm looking in the wrong place, but can someone step forward and let me know what software it was?

    Diamond,

I am not an iPad user, but there is a $9.99 version of Photoshop available for iOS and Android. A lot depends on if you want to do more serious editing and consume RAW format as well. Actually the tablet/phone forum on dpreview is a decent place to find iPad photo info. Being an Android guy I cannot recall the specific tools. The problem with searching iTunes for good apps, is all the goofy photo apps that add silly filters or captions and frames bog down your search results.

Never tried Filterstorm but I do like Snapseed and it is now free so the price is even better than when Rooz and I paid our hard earned for it.

So Great Ipad Guru, whats the best software you've used to transfer files back and forth between your computer and the device?

Can't speak for him but if you simply want to take photos off your idevice Windows Explorer is the simplest. Connect your idevice to a Windows PC via USB and go to Explorer where the device will appear and photos can be dragged to wherever you want on your PC.

iOS is not like a desktop operating system it's very restricting in the way individual files types can be loaded and stored but things like Dropbox can be very handy for keeping data available.
