Gordon Laings Cameralabs D800 v D600 iso tests are particularly worrying (for my bank manager).

Thanks mate, now the wait begins At least I no longer feel obligated to read about them till all hours. Once I realised how much time I spent agonizing I figured stuff the $900 difference, I'm just getting it.

I think that you made the right choice. For a few hundred more you get better res and the functions left off of the D600.
Now you can really use those FX lenses.
Looking forward to the first posted images... Uh, will they fit?

I just picked up a D600. For my style of shooting it should do just fine. I've been living with it's short comings with my D80 for 4 years. Will up date when I get home to a computer. Thanks for all your help.
