I was not complaining and am happy with the answers - as you say what a person likes and dislikes varies a lot. It just got me thinking "why do I take photos?"; I do not display them around the house, I rarely post them on any forums and I do not enjoy spending hours tweeking them on the computer like some others do. I have a few on my website but that is more to fill the space. I take the photos, download them to the computer, check them over and adjust a few and I never look at them again.

The part I like is the going out to find something interesting and trying to get a good photo from it. I do look to get a technical good photo and was considering a better zoom lens and possibly a 5d mkii as the price is coming down.

Sorry about the last post - I must have been on a downer that day.

Anyway I am going to carry on and talking to a neighbour I found he has a Canon system and I tried a 70-200 f2.8 L ( not intending on buying one of these ) - how does anyone carry one of those around all day? Also a EF40 f2.8 STM which was nice but I do not think it is my sort of lens.
