IE posting problem

I have just tried starting a thread in IE and the screen must grow to about 10 -20 times the width and it is impossible to post.

Everything else seems to work OK and starting a new thread works in Firefox.

The first time I noticed it was the date I posted the problem. I have not started any new thereads for a while and so have no idea when the problem started.

Wow, weird. I'll try updating to the latest version of vBulletin later to see if that helps.

I updated vBulletin to the latest version -- let me know if the problem is still there.

Yes the problem is still there; I wonder is I have a conflict with something else installed as nobody else has comented. VBulletin I assume would have done something about it as well if it was a known problem?

I was looking into another problem I have with IE 9 and one of the suggestions was run in compatability mode. I tried that and the new thread box is the size it should be.

Its is funny that I ran in compatability mode once and now everything is hunky dory. Perhaps the update sorted the problem and then the cache was reset.
