Where to buy
I had a Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS L lens. The operative word is had. I dropped it on hard barn dirt tonight, it broke in the middle. I'll take it a store tomorrow to see if I should even bother sending it in to Canon.
In the meantime I need a lens. I'm an event photographer, (dog agility) and have several trials coming up in the next few weekends.
I won't have it for this weekend, but I'm going to buy an f2.8 mark II lens for next weekend. Amazon and B & H, roughly the same price, any preference in buying form one place or the other?

B&H is much better to deal with if you have even a little problem. They and Adorama are the two most professional of the NYC shops. Overall they are Bloomingdale's while the rest are the Dollar Store.
