Yep, but my D60 is a CCD as well. Actually from what I'm reading, its the exact same sensor, although truth in Internet........

I'm surprised, I thought the D200 was the last CCD, oh well not my 1st piece of dodgy but well intended advice I've handed out here.
    D800, D300, D90, 24-70 f2.8, 70-200VR f2.8, 300 F4, 105 micro, 16-85VR, 50mm 1.8, Tammy 90 macro, 70-300VR, SB900, 2xSB600, MB-D10, 055XPROB 322RC2. New computers to run photoshop faster. C&C always appreciated. PhotoGallery

Thats all right. I soundly ignored everyones advice and bought jcon's D200 with grip. Saved myself enough over a D300 to afford a Tokina 100mm f2.8. I see from anxiously watching the tracking info that the camera should arrive today

So it arrived this afternoon along with my CF card (Kingston 16GB 600x). I know everyone said that the D60 and the D200 shared sensors, but I was never quite satisfied with the shots from my D60. I was always having to futz around with WB, saturation and sharpness and even then, I often didn't get quite what I was after. The D200's shots, straight out of the camera, look GREAT to my eyes. I'll post a couple when I get them cropped.

congrats rod. the d200 is a fine camera and the main thing is that you enjoy shooting with it. everything else is peripheral to that.
