    It's Finally Here....

    Not the best photo, but you get the idea

    I decided to order locally since the online retailers (BHPhoto, Amazon, etc..) had waitlists that were 10,000 deep, my local store i was able to be number 3. Anyone else looking to buy one, I strongly suggest looking locally, not only will you get it much, much faster, but youre supporting your local camera store! Im off to enjoy my new D800!

    Congratulations. Shops around here hasn't got a clue when they're getting any D800 or D4's.. Delivery date is anywhere from may to august :-/

    You're local shop should have a Nikon rep that they communicate with, atleast the one here did, and was getting weekly updates on when the next shipment would be arriving(they were only receiving one D800 at a time though since it's so scarce right now).
