Nikon D90 Viewfinder Green Information Display Problem
Hi Guys,
Iv just bought a Nikon D90 second hand but in excellent condition and i am having the following problem:
When looking through the viewfinder, on the information bar with the green writing, every single thing is lit up so it looks EXACTLY like parts 9 to 19 in the image attached
Parts 1-9 all seem to work perfectly.
I have tried the two button reset, but beyond that i have no idea. Iv tried searchign everywhere but to no avail.
Any help appreciated
Thanks

at the risk of sounding stupid, isnt that normal? Or is it lit up with the info shown in the picture you posted (i.e. no proper shutter speed/ aperture info)
you cannot read anything in the display as every single possible green line is lit up. so its identical to the picture and doesnt show any info just all lit up like a christmas tree
Is it an original looking battery or a cheap alternative?
Can you take pictures regardless?
Might need to be looked at by someone in a shop I am afraid. Did the person you bought it from mention anything of this? If not, I would ask for my money back (was it ebay?)
Nhubbers I'll be pleasantly surprised if holdenman answers as he joined to ask a question and has only posted on the forum 4 times in 10 months all in this thread. Hope he's got email notification and can help you. Sorry I can't myself.
