I have an A 900 and my main lens that I use a majority of the time is the Zeiss 24-70. A pretty heavy combo, so I use the RRS BH-55 ballhead and the 3541LS Gitzo. My question is, to save space and weight for traveling purposes, would the Gitzo 2541 with maybe the RRS BH-40 do the job? Or maybe the RRS new compact ballhead and tripod (Series 1). Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.
