    Orchids to be!!

    Here are a few images I took of my Orchid plant. Taken with Don's 60mm Macro. I love this lens.

    Nice macro of the flower spike of what i would guess is a phalaenopsis hybrid of some sort.

    Yes a good old Phalaenopsis . If you leave that flower spike on after it drops its flowers in a month or two it will rebud and don't do like they say put ice cubes on them.

    There were two spikes when we got it. Both of them dried out so I cut them off. I only got one spike this time. Those are nice looking Orchids. I don't have a green thumb, but do like taking pictures of flowers.

Size:  62.3 KBIf i knew where you lived i could tell you maybe when the next orchid show by you is . Heres my small greenhouse and a new minature that just bloomed the flowers less then a 1/4 inch.
