    Pomegranate and Star Fruit

    Here are a few images I took today playing with the shoot through umbrella and the Tamron 60mm Macro.

    Hard flash

    This might be better lit with a hard flash, Frank. I suspect it would give the fruit's surface a crisper look? What the heck... try it? What changed in the last image?

    Frank - lovely, mouth-watering photos. Is it just slightly different lighting/exposure that makes it look like you used 2 different plates, one smooth, one fluted? Or is it just my laptop screen?
    Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff — oh, and some Canon p&s's too

    It is the same plate. I shot these at different exposures to test the lightning. I would try harsh flash but my grandson ate the models.LOL
