New Macro Setup

You could try combinezp for focus stacking as its free and see how it works.

I am currently looking at making a focus rail but as I do not have a macro lens it is not urgent!

The areas in focus look very sharp for that setup - I may look into this more as it would be cheaper than buying a new lens!

You can slide the camera on a flat surface and get good results ...

That macro unit looks a bit flimsy Frank - I love the example with 4 screwed together; how much vibration would you get there!
