I am 2 blocks away from a mandatory evacuation. I don't have any big trees around and I never had a problem with flooding before. I hope that is the case this time. I will be out as soon as the rain stops to get some pictures. This is the only the 3rd time in 33 years that they shut down all the casinos in AC. It should hit us about 2 am tonight.

    Thanks
    Frank

    Lightbulb It looks like...

it may have parked itself for a bit over Nags Head... just rolling around. A slow mover like this is not what anyone needs.

    Stay dry.

    Hey Frank,
If you go out, leave the brolly behind. Don't want to lose you now.

I don't think I will need it. We made it through the worst. Power only went out for a half hour. No major damage. Time to grab the camera and get some shots.

    Exclamation Philly looks drowned

Apparently there are going to be some serious (record) flooding in Philadelphia, today, worse than the 1999 stuff. There's an opportunity for a "historic shot" or two.

Power is also spotty throughout the area and the possibility of one-two week power loss. A lot of tree/wire entanglements, due to weakened root systems. Believe me, we saw that right here, a month ago. I love buried power lines.

    Good luck and keep safe.
