    I need a creeper lens

I need a creeper lens ( im serious), I live by the beach now and need something with a bit of a zoom. I was thinking of the sony SAL-75300. Any ideas? Trying to stay under $300.

    Thumbs up Agree w/ Switch

Switch has a good bargain, there. It is definitely all you should need for most photography at this range, OUTDOORS.

By no means does it compare with SONY's 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G SSM (~700)or the SONY 70-400mm f/4-5.6 G SSM lenses, it is still a very cost-effective lens for doing a lot for little cost.

Remember that zoom lenses of this length tend to have a minimum focus (M.F.D.) of 5-feet. No closer. (I believe MACRO mode on the TAMRON 70-300 allows you to get to around 3-feet)

The six-year warranty certainly don't hurt is something goes wrong, either (like it being out-of-focus or some such thing, out-of-the-box).

Good luck and post some stuff!

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

It will take 6 years to notice an out of the box problem?
