Wow that was a bit of a change Lukas. I thought you were a confirmed Pentaxian. That little pentax has served you well so I'm not suprised you dont want to get rid of it. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you can do with full frame.

Congrats on the new acquisition. It's torture when you have it hand and have to wait an eternity for the damn batteries to charge.

I am going to sell it to fund a new ball head and some panorama stuff. I just meant I didn't invest much in Pentax so it's an easy switch.

Just make some pretend camera noises until the battery is good to go

    First impressions--

    Compared to the XTi/400D:
    > the lcd is big & very pretty
    > the viewfinder is awesome--big, bright and easy to use with glasses--what an improvement!
    > the grip is better for my hand and the body feels much larger and heavier (but look at them side by side and the differences seem small)
    > controls are better laid out but will take a bit of getting used to
    > I like the dedicated iso button, the second command dial, the locking mode dial, the iso display in the viewfinder, and the top display panel
    > Live View is gonna be fun, as is the swivel screen
    > the shutter/mirror sound is very different

I'm gonna like this a lot. I'm a happy camper.

    Now I need a good deal on a used 50mm f/1.4.
