Yup, and weird-angle macros and my Through-the-Viewfinder stuff. I also like that it's a little bigger than my XTi, but still small-ish, that the viewfinder is bigger and brighter, the higher mp with better resolution and iso performance.

And yesterday afternoon my daughter asked when I was getting my new camera, which translates to "why is it taking you so long to give me your old camera?"

Nope. She's got a Nikon film camera with a kit lens and a bunch of Holgas and Dianas, which she uses most of the time. I think she'll like the 50mm 1.8 cause it's so small and light, and she's used to fixed focal lengths, but I actually use that one a lot. I was thinking of getting the 50mm 1.4 and giving her the old one. I'm hoping to find a deal on a used one, but so far I haven't seen any.

Naw, she's too smart for that. She knows I'm a gear-head at heart (without the wallet to back it up) so it was only a matter of time. I've had this XTi for almost 5 years.

the 3 weeks i had to wait for my ipad 2 nearly drove me nuts. i bet i checked the site 100 times to see if it shipped early.
