    Pete maybe right!!!!

    Here is a shot I took today of a mother duck with her ducklings. I focused on the mother ducks eyes and the ducklings look out of focus. I shot this f/8 at 1/800 and iso 400.

    Hi Frank, not sure why you would say that! Your inference is that the camera has back-focus whereas I previously said the opposite. LOL
    Anyway, without knowing your shooting distance and whether or not the image is cropped, we are unable to deduce anything useful other than that Mother Duck appears to be in focus, Spring is sprung and you took the shot in the middle of the day.
