There is some things that changed, like now all the DSLR cameras are in the same category. Color still sucks but its getting better, shouldnt have taken more then a day though

Does anyone know how you find unread messages in a forum, and also where the old control panel is?

Unread messages link is in the gray bar below the "Forum" tab along with the "Whats new tab".
Your control panel links are on the right hand side of the page above the search box and will start with " Welcome Robert Besen "

Steve, I think the improvement is in the "front end" which is a bit easier to sort through.
The "look and feel" is a matter of taste; I had no quarrel with the before but I will get used to it.
Needs a "quick link" at the bottom to return us to the Sony page.

I for one am still trying to get used to the changes. I'm sure after a bit I won't give it a second thought.
