My new camera
I just picked up my new Sony A580. I have taken any pictures to post yet.

Nice one, Frank. Hope it works out for you.
Now you can start saving for that lens. LOL

I couldn't wait till October. I don't know which one I should get yet. I am looking for one now.
Thanks

Solid move ...
Frank, you should do a thorough examination of the camera ... compared to the a100. You, more than anyone else, would have tremendous insight on the advantages ... and perhaps, missing qualities of the unit in comparison.
Good luck and let's see something GOOD! That ISO advantage looks awesome. Perhaps a series of ISO side-by-sides, indoors and out.

A Photographer Is Forever
Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

Nice aquisition, Frank. Like Don, I would be interested in seeing ISO side by side comparison.
