Can you adjust brush size?

I used the select tool to trace what I wanted to remove. Then hit delete and it removes the selected area. If you use the spot healing tool you can adjust brush size. There are a few good tutorials on You Tube here is one of them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NH0aEp1oDOI

Only thing wrong with Photoshop is the price but then there is "Elements".
Frank, sorry but the second image is still U/E.
You're pretty keen on HDR and this is a case where it could have been useful.
