    External Flash for A300

Looking to see if anyone has any experience with 3rd party flashes for the Sony Alpha. Something along the lines of the Sigma EF-530 DG Super Electronic. Or do i just go with the Sony F42. Want to be under $200.

    Thumbs up Sigma EF 530

I've got a Sigma, and I've used it with good success with both an A200 and an A350. I also had good success with ordering a repair part (needed due to damage due to use in a crowd situation, not any product defect). It saved a significant amount of money vs. the Sony unit.

I've got a Sigma EF-530 DG Super, it's a great flash, especially for the money.

I got a Metz 48AF for my A300. Works perfect and it saved me a lot of money and it fits your budget.
