    Here is an edit of your dog. I hope you don't mind. If you do I will take it down. I adjusted it in Camera Raw then made a curves adjustment in PS. I also sharpened the dogs face.

    yeah it looks good, i just got my DSLR camera on Thursday and have never owned one before and i have never used photo editing software before either so its going to take some time for me to get used to changing stuff

    You need to start by taking lots of pictures and post the ones you thin are the best. I would start by putting the camera in Aperture mode and setting the Aperture to f/8. You need to learn how to use the histogram on your camera. Check out this link http://www.llvj.com/tutorials/unders...stograms.shtml.
