I was driving along the bay road and seen this Mallard keep popping its head up over the bulkhead.

I am quite literally being forced to make use of model(s) in my shoots.
No human model = no credit.
Pretty simple equation being used here.
Unfortunately, the duck is an ani-mule and as such ... not really considered a direct-able model, but no less a cool-looking subject.
While I am not all that enthusiastic about the "instruction" I am getting, I understand the precepts of the shoots and can accomplish it with some discipline and an active survey/request of available resources, The Location Photography class is, perhaps, the most "active" class in the entire curriculum. We are out of the building almost 50-60% of the time. What does that mean to the student photographer? Yeah, transportation costs. They didn't mention that in the fee schedule. Gas is a lot more expensive than ten years ago.
Anyway ... here's to hoping I can get some sharp-looking models for my next three shoots. They are coming up really fast. Cripes, I need a casting director.
