    Windows 7, Core I-7... NX2.2.5...

... and the darn NX2 program keeps freezing every few images. Can anyone give me a clue what's gone wrong?

Rooz, Do you mean NX2 is unstable? I know Capture is slow...
I just got the system a few days and so far mainly work with NX2. I also use Adobe Premiere 2.0 Pro for a few hours and it didn't seem to crash. It's so darn annoying.... I thought I could boast about my new system in MY GEAR Thread but that just doesn't mean to be.

It seems that NX is flakey under Windows 64 bit.
My advice - buy Lightroom 3.2

Try Google you will find pages of hits with people with the same problem with NX.

Thanks for the inputs. My Win7 is 32 bit and it seems I can't rush NX2 into the next step until it finishes whatever it's doing but even then it's very temperamental. I am thinking of going back to WinXP if it helps.

i run win7 and nx2.2.5 is unstable sometimes aswell. there is no pattern to it either, sometimes its a big file, sometimes crashes from opening a file.

Really XaiLo? How do I go about doing that? (PS: NVM, I found the way but it crashed the first file I opened.)
As we speak I managed to edit at least 10 images without crashing... a record.

Right click on the NX icon, click on properties then click the compatibility tab
Check the checkbox which reads 'Run this program incompatibility mode for:'
And change it to the OS in which it ran for you.
