Seriously if you don't want video...don't get it....for serious portrait work..the viewfinder will drive you nuts

Can you be more explanatory?

It's not very clear at all...grainy video...changes colors depending on wb setting..takes longer that the shutter movement before the picture comes back...you just have to try one...but then if you use live view rear , with af like a p$s..its fine

How do you find the EVF for accurate focus? I'm thinking primarily for Macro.
I've been keeping an eye out for a s/h NEX but the EVF would probably suit me better.
I often have the Sun slightly behind me and that kills the rear LCD.

I presume the Video is A55.
It looks pretty good; I take it the jerkiness is down to the hosting site.

I had the nex...sent it back in 2 days...

Like i've said the evf is grainy ........ If i was using this as my main camera, it would drive me nuts...i've gotten more used to it, but i wouldn't do commercial work with it unless you can hook up a monitor..(thats what i do for product shots anyway)
