Attempting to get a decent shot of my toys. Taken with a Tamron 90mm macro on a D300 on a tripod with natural light.
Left to right:
Nikkor's 50 F/1.8, 16-85 VR, 24-70 F/2.8, 70-200 F/2.8 VR, 70-300 VR.
I almost never use the 50 1.8, so although everyone says it's a must have because it's so cheap, if you don't use it then it's not really a bargain is it.
The 16-85 is a great range on my crop body and I like being able to got wide, pity is purely a DX lens.
The 24-70 is bloody heavy by comparison and isn't wide enough on my crop body for my liking. Also don't like the way the 24-70 extends when going wider than 35mm.

I'm secure in my sexuality and don't have to hide from pink

RichNY, maybe some of the Australians here can ask you to buy some gear for them in the US as Australian prices are a wee bit higher. There may be many items people will want you to bring over.

Gear porn, yes! But no camera bodies? I'm pretty sure you're going to have to yell at me when I buy a new camera, 'cause there will be unboxing pictures! I'm thinking D4, 'cause I have to do one better than Rooz
