    Since some of the medium format digital backs run around $30,000.00 , I think there will be sticker shock on that sensor.

    The sensor size is 20cm x 20cm... You need a really large camera for that. Aside from large-format cameras, I think it's really impractical for photography, and will be used more for industries/scientific studies.
