10 minutes is pretty pathetic though. Without stabilization, I guess it's a bit more reasonable. Which brings back the question, why would you want to film something that long using a dslr anyway? (But we've beat that horse to death many times over already).

Quite so, if your bag is Video, get a Video-cam.
In any case, you wouldn't handhold for a 10min video, well I wouldn't.
You'd be using a tripod with the AS off so the problem goes away.
