The film industry is eating it all up..but they want 24p ect...more money for mikon, canon and panasonic...thats right panasonic is kicking sonys ass


THEY NEED A GOOD FULL FRAME 1080 24 P + MANUAL LINKED CONTROL OF THE IRIS .+..AND NOT WITH THEIR NEW MIMI MOUSE MOUNT

and if they do the through the lens mirrorless view...they would have a winner

Well, you may be right, Sonynut. Not being a Video aficionado, I really wouldn't know.
I'll bet this will satisfy a lot of people, maybe Wedding shooters for instance, and you can bet there will be other more advanced models to come.

What i'm wondering is why this is 1300 bucks more than the nex-5 ...it does the exact same thing........they added a microphone..big deal....not a 1300 mic.lol.

The nex-5 would be a good camera for anyone that has an old md lens collection.(like me.lol)...or slap it on my telescope....hmmmmmmmmmmm

i love where all of this is going to be honest. more creative options for people and more of a system approach. using the same lens' on your DVC and DSLR...freakin awesome.
