    Samsung 18-55 lens

    I am thinking about buying the NX10, but every sample photo I see on this site and others shows really bad distortion at the sides of shots at 18 mm. Does anyone who owns this camera find this to be true? Jeff Keller notes this is a problem on the right side and says it might be a faulty lens, but I am seeing this on both sides on samples on other sites, and nobody seems to say much about it.

    It's a pretty easy problem to fix in software, and a pretty common problem for reasonably wide-angle zoom lenses I think.

    Updates lens firmware!

    I have a 30mm lens kit. But I didn't find that any distortion so far. With bundle lens, I've heard of the problem at first but Samsung has updated a firmware 1.1ver for 18-50mm lens.
    Here is a firmware link. http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/...ype=F_FIRMWARE

    And if you want to see videos by NX10, check this playlist;

    Hope you find an answer!

    I have the model and have not experience the distortion you are talking about. I did some searching online and only found about 2 other postings about this and they were just questions like yours. Not sure but it looks like maybe the fault is within the software?
