Yesterday's excursion

Shooting track and field, at (rapidly) moving targets can be fun enough, but yesterday had everyone covering the state meet pulling their hair.

Running into and out of the shadows, sometimes with part of the shot in the sun, and part shaded, and with broken clouds that meant many events ran out from under a cloud into the sun, and then back into the shade.

A recipe for overexposed shots and too-dark shots in the same burst!

Still, I liked the composition of a few of them.



Track isn't always a synchronized sport, but this relay leg was!



Caught both of them several inches off the ground!
