Cold and windy; gusts to 45mph. This copperhead was out on the trail. He had come out to catch a few minutes of sun, but got caught when the sun went behind clouds and the temperature dropped to about 40F. He was easy to pose with a stick since he was mostly shutdown in the cold.

Thanks. He was cold enough that I could get the camera within a foot without risk.

One of the best things at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens is the frogs. They raise endangered species of tropical frogs and there are some on display. This lemur tree frog was one of about 6 in the tank, but the only one that decided to wake up and climb about. Spent around 10 minutes waiting for him to face me and not be behind dirty glass or another leaf.
