An adult Eastern Pacific Gray whale and her calf. The adult has two old wounds, one in front of and behind her blowhole, possibly from a boat or ship's propeller.

Heard a squealing noise from next door.Tuned out that my neighbour who works on his family farm had bought a piglet home the runt of the litter and was having to feed it 3 hourly.
To the pleasure of my girls he bought it round and let it lose in our garden.These were the best i could do-taking pictures of children is tricky enough,but getting a piglet a few days old to try and keep still was impossible.
