    the river banks are overflowing but no rain for a month....i say run everyones sprinklers and suck out the river so it doesnt flood

    As the weatherman detaileth ...

    It will be the rains in Des Plaines, for the next 60 hours. Always a river of water through here. As long as it just keeps going ... I am fine with that. I have way too many memories of watching River Road become impassable as they raised and moderated the dams down in the Chicago area..

    The lightning has been blasting away ... and darn near got us a couple times. Knocked out the internet for about fifteen minutes.
