    frank, ttl wont get you best results for this sort of shot cos the camera doesnt really know what youre trying to do or the texture of your subject. in this casem white rimmed lemon with wet, (highly reflective), material is going to make using a tiny light source very challenging. better to sit the cam on a tripod and take mumltiple shots at various flash powers. as dr4gon already said, your flash is really hot here. i would suspect 1/8th would have been closer to the mark.

    even though you are only using one flash, remember that you also have the ability to manipulate light by bouncing. ie: some white card, (even paper), in front and/or just behind the lemons to fill out the light a little.

    I will try to lower the flash and use a reflector. I was trying to not have shadows. I also wanted that high key effect. I just over did it.
