    Travel Town

Decided to spend my lunch hour yesterday at Griffith Park's Travel Town museum. The entry price, free. Photographic opportunities, reasonable.

Going with my recent interest in making a present day image look as though it were from the past a lot of my shots were taken with the A900's "sepia" color profile. And, I took some in color for comparison.

    Here's the first set.

    Comparison series

Here's a series of shots of the same train:

    In color:

    Using the camera's sepia setting:

Using PS to convert the color image to a sepia tone:

Now, since I'm using an ancient version of PS my ability to adjust the sepia toning is limited. It's my understanding that the more recent versions allow greater control with the ability to multiple levels of color tone.

Darin, obviously PS gives you more control. Depends where you want to be.
