We got 3 inches over night and than it rained all day till about 2:00 this afternoon. Then it turned to snow and they are still talking about 12 inches. Boy am I glad we got rain. Why don't I have any friends in warm places????

I don't want to make a non-photo post, but can't resist. The globe is warming. The past decade was the hottest on record. Local weather events like a snowstorm are not the same as global climate change.

But with the oceans getting warmer it will increase moisture in the air so bigger rain and snow storms will result. We have certainly been experiencing bigger than usual rain and snow storms in the last 10 years here where I live. Here is an article that explains that:

So global warming will lead to more photos of big storms. There, I tied this to photography.

    Thumbs up Parka passion

Well, we will need better photo filters to deal with all the reflective white we are going to be shooting from now on. My money is on SNOW in May!

If the globe is truly warming up ... I say, let it! The world is a big enough place ... and not everyone is going to make it to Cancun, MX. If small-minded people think we can make a difference ... after not even being able to put a man back on the moon, in 40 years! HAH!

Just grab a parka, turn the heat up a notch or two ... and get back to work!

Remember: The millions of dinosaurs and ancient plants gave their lives so we could cruise in our automobiles! I, simply, am not going to defile their memory by ignoring them and their fine contribution to my motoring pleasure.

    DRIVE ON!

Psst: Do you think this may have looked better, shot in the snow?

Exclamation Times Square ... a frigid, frozen ghost town

Uh, Frank ... have shovel, can't travel.

There's a snow on the coast, again, at record setting pace and intensity. What's up with that?

I still think the merry month of May will have a wee touch of the white stuff. Back in September, I suggested this was the year of snow ... Mom Nature is not letting me down.

Get those grandkids out there and a snowman going ... he needs his image posted. "Wanted! More melted than alive!"

I cannot believe we got more snow. We got lucky this time we only got about 6 inches so far. I hope it is gone for now. I am looking to head to Fla sometime next month to see what warmth is and shoot some pictures.
