    Tamron 17-50 is in the mail! :)

    I should get it this Wednesday. I REALLY hope I got a good sharp copy....

    I also have a B&W UV filter and circ polarizer coming for it AND a Speedlite 430EX II with a diffuser hood. Can't wait!!1

    I have that lens as well (only it has a promaster name on it---same thing)

    It's awesome. I've had nothing but good experiences with it

    Got it today! WOW! Great lens. Very sharp. I got a "made in Japan" copy too so I think it's a good one. I took some pictures just messing with it and the 430EX flash:

    I went with the non VC. I got it for 450 from BH. I saw it for 399 at some other places but I wanted to make sure I could return it if it was a bad copy.

    I think the VC would be cool but I'm not entirely sold on the concept. I'd rather just get the setup right to where VC (aka IS haha) is not really needed at all.
