Chicken Cacciatore

I made Chicken Cacciatore for dinner. I needed an image for my 365 day project so here it it is. Still trying to figure out how to use the new flash. I set up the flash at about 7 o'clock and tried to bounce it off the ceiling. I tried to put a white reflector opposite the flash but it didn't look good.

Any comments or suggestions would be great

Looks tasty.

Very good overall, only two issues. It is a little underexposed, and there is a shadow on the right hand side. I don't know how to fix that shadow, other than diffusing the flash even more, which is tough, and would require more power and might be even more underexposed.

But in terms of composition, even lighting, and food presentation, it is excellent.

BTW, I googled my name the other day and besides the articles about a murderer and the stock car driver, the first real jason hamilton that shows up is a food photographer. I think there is also a jason hamilton wedding photographer, so I'm going to have a hard time getting my name googleable.
