Pay Phone ( for Jason )
The phones in the city area are locked up real good. They just cannot figure out how to keep the handsets on them yet.

Wow, looks like they took it out of service but were too cheap/lazy to just go ahead and remove it. Kinda wonder if any organization still "owns" it.

They didn't take it out of service all those locks are so they don't steal it. LOL If you look you can still get to the keypad and change cup. Somebody just pulled the handset off of it.

I know I installed them about 18 years ago. Even tanks can be broken into. LOL Nothing in the city is safe. They were steeling the aluminim covers on the street light to sell for scrap. They replaced them with plastic one.

Years ago all the gutters and leaders on the train stations in Brooklyn were made of copper but they were painted. Somebody found out and ripped them all down. Nothing is safe any more.

I'm always amused by the stories of the idiots who try to steal copper wiring OF LIVE HIGH VOLTAGE LINES They usually don't get too far.
