    meh, I wouldn't knock it. I wouldn't buy one since if something isn't going to go in a pocket, I might as well carry an SLR, but there are lots of benefits (one being weight) to something like that. You don't get the low light or shallow DOF you get with an SLR, but the image quality is typically pretty good.

    Sony seems to be one of the best at this style of camera, and Minolta used to be one of the best.
