    Having a good flash will make life a little easier with your camera. Consider the HVL-F42AM. But look around for the price, as it can be commonly found all over and you can get it for around $189, if you look hard.

    As a matter of interest, I think the Soligor f2.8 was made by Sigma and is not too bad a lens.
    What mount is it? If it's an M42 screw mount, a focus confirm adapter is available for less than $20.
