    Personally Frank, I think the originals are quite nice. The only problem I see here is that her face is reflecting some light off the flash but it's not too bad at all.
    I think all you need here is some facial powder!
    Also shooting trough a diffuser like an umbrella would have softened the light!

    Yeah, just some specular highlights in the face, characteristic of harsh light. (That's what I was trying to say).

    Your second redo is not bad either, probably slightly underexposed at that point, but still nice.

    I have to try to use LR more. This may sound like a stupid question but how do you save your work right in LR. I had to export it to PS to save it.

    Thats what I did. It is saying I need to update Camera Raw in PS to Camera Raw 5.

    What version of LR are you using?
    Make sure in settings that the output format is JPEG if that is what you want.

    Just right click the picture

    EDIT IN > Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS#

    That will ship it to photoshop. ACR should be fine. The A100 isn't a new camera or anything.
