    Lightbulb Oh, to be out in the NM or NV desert, eh?

    Too bad Chicago and O'Hare Airport dominate the night sky. The light pollution is ... well, incredible. Instead of seeing Space ... you can see it FROM Space!

    Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
    Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

    Its dark enough to see uranus from here though

    Too cloudy in western Oregon, and mostly hi ones so central Oregon (also mighty black on that map!) won't do well either. Ah well, it's the price we pay for living here: a few glorious months with grey interludes to make the sunshine worth waiting for. Hope a few of you get to see the show..
