It's early day yet....
.... yeah.... I hope it's not a one off thing and hopefully this is the trend toward MegaPixel sanity.
However, many PnN cameras now hover around 10-12MP mark for a while and the only exception being the mad Kodak EasyShare Z1485 IS which boasts 14MP.
Personally, I think MP has only one way to go - which is down or remains around 10MP. These days people have the unnecessary habit of viewing image at 100% on their monitor, so how long can manufacturers keep fooling consumers to think bigger is better?
