Md mount with a md/ma no glass adapter not to shabby i'd say.. Just a focus readjust is needed..basicaly.pull the rubber grip off.pull tape off adjust ..tape new position..

I'll take your word for it seeing as I've owned neither, but doesn't it rather depend on the shot? The donuts are just visible in the Pink Flower pic but they make the background leaf edges look OOF or blurry and it's definitely a bit distracting.
Thats the nature of the beast in mirrors...doesn't bother me
And those are on macro..longer shots are more forgiving..

Don't get me wrong, I think mirror lenses are good value for money. Not sure I'd like focus one on an A700 and less though.
