Nikon d90 vs Canon 50d

Ok I am looking at the nikon d90 with the following lenses:

Nikkor 18-105 VR
Nikkor 70-300 VRII

against the

Canon 50 d with similar lenses.

Also, can I run the new nikkor lenses on the Nikon d60 or 80? Will the drive the motorized auto focus?

the d60 requires an afs lens, (which most, if not all, newer lens' are anyway). the d80 and d90 have their own built in AF motor so its not an issue.

as for your choice, the d90 and 50d are great cams. couldnt go wrong with either.
