I think they have a bit too much contrast to them (maybe it's justt me?) The first one is pretty nicely exposed except it's a tad dark and the eyes are pretty much gone. I would maybe see what you can do in Lightroom with the adjustment brush or the exposure, fill light, and contrast sliders.

I tried to use the adjustment brush in Adobe Raw but I didn't like the way it looked. I don't use LR. I never played with it much.

    Thanks

No I didn't shoot it in RAW. I think I am going to shoot everything in RAW.How do you save the image as a DNG file. I use Adobe RAW through Bridge.

    Thanks

    Why don't you shoot RAW?

You gotta be shooting RAW! Might as well make the most out of your SLR and fully utilize all of the sensor information.

I can't help you with saving to DNG as I leave em in RAW.

Then you have all the side car files to keep up with. I need to do some reading and then start using RAW.

That's why you should migrate to Lightroom.

Shoot raw. Startup Lightroom. File > import photos (choose a home folder to put files and arrange by date). Edit from your lightroom library, never keep up with files again and enjoy your new workflow. For further advanced editing, right click the photo > edit in > photoshop.
