Bet you're glad you bought that Minolta 28-135mm. Wait till you get it on an A850.

yeah it's an awesome lens however i had to use it with my filter today which tends to soften the shots but worth it cause i could just wipe the water off with my t-shirt instead.
Rooz i like that shot as well. i can send you the RAW file if you like.
give me your email and i will send it to you the next time i'm on my desktop!
i took that shot on my knees trough the bars of the wall/fence.

You know, cropping can do wonders for an image.

Of course, it's a personal thing.

what is it that you are trying to do Rooz?
maybe i can try as well.
Peek i never even thought about that crop lol. i just straightened the image and cropped a little from the top and bottom to keep the aspect ratio.

Rooz, you wanted to crop out the rest of the flowers and crop it a bit for composition? I don't think it's too hard.
From this picture:
I've taken out 2 street lights and a large billboard lol. It did take some time, but looks much better without em.
Elisha, I like the second one the most!

I'd like to see what Frank could do with the "second" image with a pseudo-HDR. Maybe bring out the erector-set walkway a bit, so it stands out. Right now ... it's a little too "understated." Dodge & Burn? Selective enhancement? Just a thought ...
Fun subject, Elisha ... lots of possibilities

ah ic. i'm no good at cloning but i can give it a shot later. looks like the flowers on the left would be easier to remove than the ones on the right.
i have lots more from this series on my flickr page btw since DPR only allows 10 per post i didn't want to clutter it too much.
